Resolve determines which records refer to the same real person or organization, using the strongest identifier available and a defensible rationale attached to every single decision — never a black-box score you have to take on faith.
Where a reliable identifier exists, the match is deterministic and immediate. Where it does not, probabilistic matching weighs the evidence — name, date of birth, address, contact history, multilingual naming variation — and returns a confidence score alongside a plain-language explanation of why. Every decision is banded into automated match, human review, or no match, so uncertainty is never quietly buried inside a number nobody is equipped to question.
Speed without a defensible reason is not resolution. It is a guess wearing a confidence score, waiting for someone to ask how it got there.
